Soak the earthenware completely in water for at least 24-48 hours. Rinse and let air dry completely before initial use.
This gives the dish extra strength and durability.

Clean your earthenware dish with warm water and a non-abrasive/non-metallic cleaning pad only.
Do not use any soap or detergent on your earthenware products.
